Minister of Industry and Trade Amir Hadidi on Sunday said that Jordan and Italy discussed means to promote cooperation in railway, renewable energy and infrastructure projects fields.

Hadidi was speaking in a press conference with Italian Deputy Minister for Economic Development Adolfo Urso following the signing ceremony of a joint communique between Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation and the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade.

The meeting, which was held earlier in the day, aims to follow up on the recent visit of His Majesty King Abdullah II to Italy, where he met with 500 members of Milan Chamber of Commerce to promote Jordan’s investment opportunities and attract value-added foreign projects into the Kingdom.
