The Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai hosted a special corporate Iftar event on Tuesday July 23, to drive awareness of its charitable partnership with local humanitarian organisation, the Beit Al Khair Society as part of its annual Ramadan season programme of community-led activities.

The hotel is also asking guests and diners to bring pre-loved clothes or non-perishable goods to the hotel during the Holy Month, as part of a drive to collect unwanted items that will be distributed to deserving families in the emirate by the Society.

Around 100 of the hotel’s top corporate, travel industry and diplomatic clients were welcomed to the hotel for Iftar at the popular Gozo Garden Restaurant.

“We have been part of the fabric of the Dubai community for many years and a longstanding supporter of various charitable initiatives in the Emirate. Beit al Khair Society’s local focus resonates very strongly with our own positioning and so this tie-up is our way of sharing the charitable Ramadan spirit with those in need directly on our doorstep,” said Simon Moore, General Manager of the Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai.

“Extending our legendary hospitality to guests from every part of the world, and walk of life, is what we do every day, but it has extra special significance during Ramadan and we were delighted to host this event,” he added.

To thank diners for their generosity, the hotel is offering a 35% discount off their Iftar buffet experience at the Gozo Garden Restaurant plus a Beit Al Khair Society provided goodie bag.

The AED 139 Iftar menu includes an appetising selection of Arabic speciality dishes, international favourites, fresh dates, juices and laban, as well as traditional ‘gahwa’ (coffee) to welcome guests breaking their daily fast.

A special seasonal Ramadan package is also on offer throughout the month, with rooms starting from just AED 425 including sohour or buffet breakfast.
