Qatar Airways recorded a runaway success at the Singapore Airshow 2014 where the airline was exhibiting for the first time, attracting more than 450 people over four days for an exclusive tour of its Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

Qatar Airways welcomed hundreds of trade visitors and members of the media onboard its Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, which was on static display for the first time at the Singapore Airshow. Visitors were introduced to the new, premium aircraft with its unique features such as improved cabin pressure, dimmable windows and a more spacious seating configuration across both the Business and Economy cabins.

The airline also announced on the first day of the airshow that commencing 31 March, 2014, Qatar Airways will be operating a Boeing 787 Dreamliner alongside its existing fleet of Boeing 777s on its Singapore-Doha sector – the carrier’s first route in Southeast Asia to be using the 787 aircraft.
