The Pan Arab Web Awards recognise excellence in web design, development and web ownership skills.
Etihad Airways, in conjunction with its supplier Amadeus, was awarded for the airline’s innovative website, etihad.com, for excellence and leadership in the following areas:
• concept and creativity;
• technical, ease of use and navigation;
• content and structure;
• visual design and aesthetics; and

Etihad.com is currently available in seven different languages, including English, Arabic, French, German, Chinese, Japanese and Russian, and has over 36 specific country websites. Customers can book flights on the site, as well as hotels and insurance or shop with miles and cash from thousands of products at the airline’s award winning online Reward Shop. Other features including ‘Experience Etihad’, an interactive onboard and ground experience, route maps and timetables, as well as other online services such as web check-in, which have become very popular.
The Pan Arab Web Awards ceremony was held at the Shangri-la’s Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa in Oman.
