The Sultanate of Oman has setup a tourism promotion office in Dubai, as flow of tourism to the sultanate has picked up momentum in recent years.
“For the Sultanate of Oman, the UAE is very strong market with rising tourist arrivals. In order to tap this market Oman has opened an office here for better marketing and coordination,” said Khalid Al Zadjali, Oman’s acting Director of Tourism Events Department.
He said that the travel and tourism sector is set to achieve annualised growth of 7.8 per cent per annum, in real terms, over the next ten years.
