EGYPTAIR announced the reoperation of Kuala Lumpur service starting August 1st, 2011 after suspending the route temporarily following January 25th.

In this regard, Eng Hussein Massoud, EGYPTAIR HOLDING CHAIRMAN & CEO declared “EGYPTAIR is keen on activating the full capacity of the network; this is in addition to launching new routes in order to offer wider choices for our customers and to meet the needs of the travel agents”

From his side, Captain Ayman Nasr, EGYPTAIR AIRLINES, Chairman & CEO, said “EGYPTAIR has taken the decision flying to Kuala Lumpur via Bangkok on daily basis onboard the newest B777-300ER.”

He added “Far East in general and Kuala Lumpur in Specific is one of the competitive markets in which we need to attract more customers. Moreover, our new developed services onboard the B777-300ER in addition to other marketing promotions we provide such as the new baggage allowance and the flexible pricing tool will help us to regain our position in this market.”

Noteworthy, the B777-300ER Business Class accommodates 49 seats that can be converted into Full Flat Bed Seats as well; all classes on this aircraft provide personal screens in the back of each seat which enable the customers from selecting from hundreds of entertainment programs. The economy class on this type accommodates wider and more relaxed seat pitch.
