flydubai took in-flight entertainment to new heights with the launch of the revolutionary ‘Fiber-To-The-Screen®’ (‘FTTS®’) In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) system from Lumexis in November 2010.
This enabled the carrier to become the only airline in the world to screen movies in High Definition.
This March, the carrier took another leap forward with an enhanced IFE offering – 500 hours of non-stop entertainment featuring 156 Hollywood, Bollywood and Arab movies, 161 TV programmes and 288 music albums. “We are the only airline in our class to offer such an extensive range, ensuring that our passengers flying to more than 45 destinations never experience a dull moment!” says flydubai.

The 3D animation, shown in English and Arabic, features the four Grandmothers from the FREEJ™ series being taken through the safety briefing by a specially-created flydubai cabin crew character.
