Hilton Dubai Jumeirah announced the launch of Hilton Huanying, a new Hilton Worldwide program for Chinese travellers currently available at more than 60 hotels in 20 countries. Derived from the Chinese word for “welcome”, Hilton Huanying enables travellers, agents and tour operators to book participating hotels with confidence, knowing that they will meet the expectations and cultural needs of Chinese guests visiting key international destinations.

As part of the programme, Hilton Dubai Jumeirah will greet Mandarin-speaking guests with a welcome letter in Chinese offered by one of the hotel’s Mandarin-speaking staff. Hilton Huanying also ensures that Chinese travellers can enjoy a minimum of one Chinese TV channel at the hotel; a traditional Chinese breakfast of congee, dim sum and dough fritters; Chinese tea bags and kettle in guest rooms; and two pairs of cozy bedroom slippers.

Chinese team members at the hotel are excited to welcome their fellow countrymen to Hilton Dubai Jumeirah and to Dubai. Yang Yang, from Beijing, Front Desk representative says ‘It is a very exciting opportunity and a very special gesture that we will be able to offer them the comforts of home during their stay at the hotel. I am looking forward to helping Chinese guests throughout their stay by giving them accurate information in their own language about destinations and hotel services.’

The program officially launched at Hilton Dubai Jumeirah Resort on June 1st. Hilton Huanying was introduced by Hilton Worldwide in 2011. Following research into the requirements of its Chinese guests together with unique market insight. As a result of more than 20 year’s experience operating in China since opening Hilton Shanghai, the first Hilton & Resorts property in China. Hilton Worldwide intends to expand its presence in China to more than 100 properties in the next five years.
