Gulf Air started a “Double Miles Promotion” to coincide with the launch of its newest destinations, giving its frequent flyer program (FFP) members the opportunity to fly to Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai, Thiruvananthapuram in India or Mashhad in Iran and earn double miles.
Gulf Air will become the first full-service network carrier to fly into Al Maktoum International when it commences a daily evening service on December 8th linking Bahrain to the new airport. Starting on the 14th December Bahrain’s national carrier will operate four weekly flights to Iran’s second most populous city, Mashhad, while flights to Trivandrum International Airport will commence on 15th December with 5 weekly flights.
Gulf Air’s FalconFlyer programme, with its innovative incentives and benefits for the airline’s frequent flyers, has garnered positive feedback and been well embraced by Gulf Air passengers with impressive growth across its different network countries. It offers members attractive privileges and value added benefits such as bonus miles up to 250%, family membership and special privileges both on the ground and in the air. A host of generous benefits and incentives are available for all three categories of the programme’s card holders. For instance, Gold, Silver and Blue members get two free economy tickets to the GCC and Middle East region when traveling once between Bahrain and Manila on Falcon Gold.
The double miles offer is valid for 2 months from the date of the destination launch and further information can be found by visiting the nearest Gulf Air Office, calling the Gulf Air World Wide Contact Centre on +973 17373737
