Royal Jordanian and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced a new partnership in the field of training. As of April 17, 2013, RJ will be able to deliver IATA training courses which would help students and aviation professionals in Jordan and the region enhance their professional competencies to meet IATA’s standards.
Through this partnership, RJ will become a major IATA-accredited training center in the region benefiting by that from the international quality recognition to the company’s training activities.
The contract was signed at RJ’s headquarters in Amman by RJ’s President/CEO Amer Hadidi from the RJ side and IATA’s Regional Vice President-Middle East and North Africa Hussein Dabbas and IATA’s Head of Global Partnership and Learning Innovation Ismail Al Baidhani from IATA’s side, in the presence of RJ’s Chairman of the Board of Directors Naser Lozi.
Courses offered by IATA in different aviation fields, like cargo, travel and tourism, will be delivered by professional instructors at Royal Jordanian. Upon successful completion of the courses, participants will receive internationally recognized certificates from IATA.
The IATA certificates guarantee high standards of training and have gained worldwide recognition and acceptance by the world’s airlines and industry associations. These are important qualifications for those wishing to upgrade their professional competence or start a career in the travel, cargo or aviation industry.
