” Air Cairo ” will be operating 7 weekly direct flights from Dusseldorf; Stuttgart and Hanover to the city of Hurghada throughout the whole year using the latest models of the Airbus 320 .
Hossam Kamal, the Minister of Civil Aviation announced that “the ministry is adopting new marketing and operating strategies with the aim of encouraging and supporting Egyptian airliners to operate to Egyptian touristic cites, this comes within the mutual cooperation between the ministries of aviation and tourism to boost the development process and to promote tourism in Egypt to serve national objectives and strategies of Egypt. ”
On the other hand, Mr. Yasser El Ramly Chairman of Chairman of Air Cairo announced that ” these flights will begin on the 3rd of May 2014, as it will operate 3 weekly flights from Dusseldorf two flights from Stuttgart, and two flights from Hanover, providing direct connections between the German market and the city of Hurghada as one of the favorable destinations” . El Ramly also added “This scheduled operation is a promising step in tourism promotion methods and avoids the disadvantages of operating charter flights and provides alternatives for tourists and tour operators alike”.
It is worth mentioning that Air Cairo is the first low fare Egyptian carrier with 100% national capital, its fleet consists of 4 modern Airbus 320.
