Celebrating the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, Gulf Air, the national carrier of The Kingdom of Bahrain, recently hosted a Ramadan ghabga in Al Madinah Al-Munawarah for Prince Mohammad bin Abdul-Aziz International Airport officials and local media members.
Hosted by Gulf Air Acting Chief Executive Officer Mr. Maher Salman AlMusallam, the ghabgha was attended by a number of Prince Mohammad bin Abdul-Aziz International Airport officials, media members from various local publications and representatives from the Saudi Journalists’ Association. In recognition of their sustained support and year-round efforts, the ghabgha, which was held at the Medina Crowne Plaza Hotel, provided an opportunity for the national carrier’s guests to relax, network and discuss pertinent issues in the fields of tourism and aviation.
Gulf Air’s annual Ramadan ghabghas in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia further strengthen the airline’s ties with key industry stakeholders, reinforcing the longstanding relationship between Bahrain’s national carrier and the Kingdom and its importance as a key destination for the airline (which currently operates flights to four Saudi cities). Gulf Air launched its operations to Madinah in 2010 and today offers five weekly flights between Bahrain and the religious hub.
