Kamal Rijhwani has been promoted to executive assistant manager / in-charge of sales and marketing at Radisson Blu Resort Sharjah. He will be responsible for the strategic, commercial and day to day operational aspects of the hotel.
Rijhwani started his career in the hotel industry in 1998 and has worked in several properties industries across India, Bulgaria, Tanzania and UK. Prior to joining Carlson Rezidor ME, he gained vast experience in sales and marketing and food and drink with two prominent hotel chains, the Taj Group of Hotels and Kempinski Hotels. With his wealth of knowledge spanning15 years in hotel business, Rijhwani has consistently introduced new strategic plans in various segments and techniques such as launching Virtual Tours imagery for the hotel which have resulted in driving more revenue. He holds a Masters degree in business from the University Of Leicester, UK and a Double Diploma from the Indian Institute of Hotel Management, India. Rijhwani joined in Radisson Blu Resort Sharjah as a director of sales and marketing in 2009 and later took over the hotel’s recreation department in 2013.
