As the Dubai Food Festival nears its delicious grand finale, organizers are reminding the Emirate’s foodies that this weekend will be their last chance to savour the flavours of inaugural city-wide celebration of food.
Starting tomorrow, 13 March and running until Saturday at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, Taste of Dubai 2014 features celebrity chefs, great new experience concepts and superb entertainment. Among the famous faces will be two renowned celebrity chefs, international baking star Eric Lanlard and multi-Michelin award-winning French chef Jean-Christophe Novelli. Also joining the lineup are Food Network Channel stars – Reza Mahammad, Jenny Morris and Siba Mtongana, who along with a host of local chefs, will serve up total of 180 signature dishes representing all continents.
Along with Taste of Dubai, this weekend will be the last chance for residents and visitors to take advantage of a variety of Dubai Food Festival menus, activities and gourmet at home experiences. Restaurants offering special menus and promotions include Blue Jade at the Ritz-Carlton, Dubai, and Bussola at the Westin Hotel Dubai Mina Seyahi, among many others. For those wanting a gourmet foodie experience right in the comfort of their own home, it’s not too late to invite the chefs of Alta Badia, Tortuga or The Noodle House into their kitchen, under the special @ Home offer, to cook a gourmet feast like no other.
Launched by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) to highlight the Emirate’s strong and growing culinary credentials and continuing until 15 March, the Dubai Food Festival is a citywide celebration of food that features industry conferences, appearances from world-renowned chefs, and a wide range food-related activities, tastings and events.
