Dubai Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, announced through his Twitter and Instagram accounts the launch of Dubai360.com, a project which will showcase full 360 degree virtual tours of the emirate.
“Soon, we will launch Dubai360.com, the world’s leading immersive virtual city tour. It is a groundbreaking website that will enable you to explore Dubai from anywhere in the world,” Sheikh Hamdan, who is also chairman of Dubai Executive Council.

For now, visitors to the website can experience what it is like to stand on top of the control tower at Dubai International Airport, giving viewers the chance to be at the centre of one of the world’s busiest airports.
Viewers can control the direction and zoom of the camera as the time-lapse plays. The website will soon include timelapse tours of the views form some of the city’s must exclusive hotels, including JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai, the world’s tallest hotel.
It will also feature the view from the rooftop of the Grosvenor House Hotel in Dubai Marina, the foyer and a suite at the Burj Al Arab, and from inside Thiptara, a Thai restaurant at The Palace Hotel, Downtown Dubai.
