Operated by TAV Airports, Istanbul Atatürk Airport has become “The airport with the most new long-haul routes” at Euro Annies 2015 Awards. Gazipaşa-Alanya is selected as ‘The fastest growing airport’ in its category.

Istanbul Atatürk Airport was granted “The airport with the most new long-haul routes” title at the 6th Euro Annies Awards organized by anna.aero, the leading news website in aviation industry. Increasing the number of long-haul routes from 36 to 40, Atatürk Airport received the winning title at Euro Annies 2015, where the best players of the aviation sector are awarded. Moreover, Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport received the title of “The fastest growing airport” in Europe under the category of airports welcoming between 100,000 and 1 million passengers. In 2014, Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport achieved a growth rate of 115 per cent.

Providing service to 422,000 aircraft and 57 million passengers in 2014, Atatürk Airport was ranked the fourth airport of Europe and 13th airport of the world. In 2014, the number of long-haul flights launched from Atatürk Airport increased from 36 to 40 with the new flights of Turkish Airlines. Direct reciprocal flights to Manila, Taipei Taoyuan, San Francisco and Jakarta have been launched. Besides, Gazipaşa Airport provided service to 726,000 passengers achieving a growth rate of 115 per cent compared to 2013.
