Istanbul, the main hub of Turkish Airlines, now proves to be also a global hub with a visual feast.

In order to promote “The City of Istanbul” -priceless and peerless, as the rhapsodized by the poet- that we proudly represent all around the world, in the best way; Turkish Airlines collaborated with a world-famous talent, well-qualified to display the city best in all aspects, to present one of the most powerful promotional videos for Istanbul, portraying the city in every aspect.

The video compiles the historical, cultural and social aspects of Istanbul; each being distinctive from one another but creating a unique whole when brought together, in a promotional film with a view to introducing the city to the global audience; and it was intended to bring together the unique historical texture and unifying elements of Istanbul with the latest and most impressive shooting techniques to create a video that would intrigue and attract attention of the people all around the world and consequently tempt them to visit Istanbul.

To that end, we collaborated with Rob Whitworth, a famous British Director and an expert urban filmmaker who constantly develops and integrates new shooting techniques and film editing methods into his work. His previous projects include projects for major brands and promotional films for Barcelona and Dubai, and he is a big talent who has created successful works that have received many awards at global film festivals and gained widespread critical acclaim in global press. In this latest work, Whitworth captured the most spectacular views of the city to present a wonderful experience of Istanbul to the viewers that ends with amazement.
