APG, the world’s leading network for Airline Distribution and Financial Services, has been appointed by flydubai, a national carrier of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as its general sales agent (distribution partner) representative in the USA.
APG will be providing full sales and marketing services as well as ticket booking facilities through their call center.
As the world’s largest travel market (one in four airlines tickets sold worldwide are issued in the USA), flydubai has also opted to join ARC in the USA through APG’s ARC support and administration product. As an ARC participating carrier, flydubai will be sellable through over 14,000 ARC agents in the USA – including the largest online travel agents in the world and major US based corporate agents.
Richard Burgess, President of APG Network commented “We are delighted to be partnering with flydubai to maximise their sales from the USA. flydubai has been a true success story for the region and we are confident that the US market will welcome flydubai as a new entrant in ARC.”
Ramesh Anantharaman, Senior Vice President Revenue Management of flydubai, said: “We welcome the appointment of APG Network as our distribution partner in the USA.
