The health experts from the Association of British Hujjaj (Pilgrims) UK, a national Hajj/Umrah-specific organisation working for the welfare and wellbeing of pilgrims, have issued a warning to prospective pilgrims from around the world converging at Makkah for this year’s Hajj season. The temperature in Makkah during the month of August can reach up to 45°C. Emirates has been awarded IATA 753 compliance certification for its baggage operation in its home base of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The certification underlines the carrier’s capabilities to diligently track bags that flow through its Dubai hub for departing, arriving and connecting customers. Royal Jordanian Airline decided to halt its services between Amman and the Iraqi city of Najaf, effective July 15, 2018, and until further notice, in view of the security situation at Najaf Airport.
